Miss Bessie Arrowood Father Died Suddenly
Presbyterian Minister Enroute Home Form Synod, Died at Sanford Friday
Miss Bessie Arrowood was called to Candor Friday by the news of sudden death at Sanford of her father, Rev. Robert S. Arrowood.
Mr. Arrowood, who lived in Candor, was apparently in his usual health, having stopped overnight at Sanford with his daughter, Mrs. A. M. Harrington, on his return from the annual meeting of the State synod at Raleigh. He was accompanied on his trip by his wife and son, Rev. R. S. Arrowood, Jr., who were with him when the end came.
The remains were carried to his home at Candor Saturday morning, where the funeral services were held Sunday. He is survived by a wife and eight children.
