Garvin G. Weaver, age 82, of Louisville, passed away Sunday morning, December 11, 2011 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Glenn served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlin MacHenry and Della Loy Weaver; two infant sons; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Alyene Walker Weaver; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Edward and Tina Long Weaver; sister, Greta Weaver Walker; brother and sister-in-law, James Douglas and JoAnn Weaver; and several nieces and nephews. Special love and thanks to all the family and friends who helped with his care. Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Louisville Cemetery, with Rev. Phillip Marshall officiating. Family and friends may call at their convenience from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
