Sybil (Moseley) Bingham was the daughter of Pliny and Sophia (Pomeroy) Moseley. She was the 1st wife of Rev. Hiram Bingham, 1st. She was a school teacher. They were married six days before they left as missionaries for Hawaii. He was the leader of the first group of Protestant missionaries to introduce Christianity to the Hawaiian Islands.
