Services Held Sunday For Helen Aufrecht
Miss Helen Aufrecht, 59, who died at the St. Francis hospital in Grand Island Thursday, March 16, after a protracted illness, was buried in Evergreen cemetery on Sunday afternoon after services conducted in the First Baptist church by the Rev. S. E. Oakes.
Pallbearers were Clyde Gilbert, Eldon Tiffany, Eric Olson, Frank Grow, George Wilkens, and Chris Hensen.
Helen Aufrecht was born in Holyoke, Colo., May 14, 1890. At the time of her death she was 59 years, 10 months, and two days of age.
When she was 11, she moved with her family to Edwall, Wash., where they remained the next ten years. They came to Nebraska and settled near Loup City in 1911. She remained in Sherman county until the past five years, which she spent in Grand Island. She became a member of the First Baptist church in Loup City... (will obtain the rest of obit)
