Levada Choate Bell was born November 29, 1922, the younger of two children to Rufus and Evelyn Choate in Calhoun, OK The family moved to Wilburton where she grew up and attended school. In 1940, she married Earl Robinson, together they had two children. Later she moved to Los Angeles, Ca while living in Los Angeles she worked for Ike and Tina Turner before moving back to Wilburton and McAlester, OK. She relocated to Tulsa, Ok January 2010 to be closer to family. She enjoyed attending church, traveling, fishing, watching baseball and having family dinners. The Lord called her home December 5, 2011. Her parents, son Charles E. Robinson, sister Ruby L. Price preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Mrs. Irma Jean Kidd (Winfred Jr) of Tulsa, OK; Joyce A. Hill of McAlester, OK; son Van Kelly Robinson Sr., of Tulsa, OK; granddaughters Beverly Jones Kidd, Kathleen Jones, Lisa McNeil (Carnell), grandson Van Kelly Robinson Jr; Michael Hill, six great granddaughters, six great grandsons. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 at Jones-Harkins Funeral Home Chapel, Wilburton, OK with Reverend Van K. Robinson, Jr officiating. Interment to follow at Dagnen Cemetery, Wilburton, OK. Pallbearers will be Van Robison, Sr., Van Robinson, Jr., and Winfred Kidd.
