Benjamin Brown is the son of John B Brown born 1778 Pennsylvania. John B was the first tollgate keeper of the Baltimore Harford Turnpike and was installed September 1817.
John B died Nov 26, 1853, buried Friends Cemetery, Baltimore City, Md.

John and his wife Achsah "Willson" Brown, had seven children.

Mary Brown died June 1 1872 Green Mount Cemetery, Baltimore City, Maryland. Her residence at the time of her death was 215 Biddle St, Baltimore Md. Mary never married. Her entire estate was left to Sarah and Benjamin. Sarah was, along with her husband John H Dubree (died 1882) and their Son John B Dubree, living with Mary, Mary as the head of the household.
In 1889 we found Benjamin living with Sarah and John B both died in 1892, Benjamin went back to Hampstead and died in 1894, was buried next to his wife Susan Issac Brown. She died in 1881.

We have yet to find Benjamin's brother William's whereabouts as he left Baltimore before 1853, and the resting place of Rebecca Brown Lewis and Henry Brown.
