Augusto Cristini, 88, Brockport R.D. 1 died this morning in Maple Avenue Hospital, DuBois. A funeral mass will be celebrated; from St. Tobias Church Wednesday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Louis Heberlein, celebrant. Interment follows in St. Tobias Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Carlson Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. tonight; Tuesday from 2-4 and 7 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 p.m. and a Vigil Service will be conducted Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Cristini was born in Barons, Italy July 5. 1885. He was married to Mary Burtoletti, who preceded him in death. He was a retired miner and member of St. Tobias Church. Surviving are five daughters, Olga Tamburlin, Kersey R.D.; Elizabeth Vibbert, Brockport; Bruna Matone, Cheswick , Pa.; Eunice LaBorde Emporium; Dorothy Wisor, Brockport; a son, James Cristini, Brockport; 23 grandchildren ; several great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Genevro, and a son, Frank Cristini.
