Marcheta E. Clark, 76, of 109 Falling Timbers Road, Point Marion, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2003, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., following a two-year illness.
She was born March 13, 1926, in Greene County, a daughter of Furman M. and Edna Pearl Lippencott Nichols.
Mrs. Clark was affiliated with Oakview United Methodist Church in Waynesburg.
She was a homemaker and a member of Greene County Warrior Trail.
On March 14, 1970, she married Raymond E. Clark, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Joyce Mankey of Waynesburg and Sue Abell of Santa Fe, N.M.: two sons, James and J. Allan Barnes, both of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Kenneth and Clifford "Chauncey" Nichols; and a granddaughter.
