Former Mount Lebanon Young Man is Victim of Pneumonia
Robert Charles Alderson, former Mount Lebanon boy and son of one of the pioneer families of thr community, died early Sunday morning after a month's illness from lobar pneumonia, at his home 252 Paul street, Mount Washington, where he had resided since his marriage about seven years ago. At the time of this death he was in his 25th year. He spent his youth here and was known to all of the older residents as a young man of the highest character and a very fine personality. He was a member of the Mount Lebanon United Presbyterian church.
Mr. Alderson is survived by his widow Dorothy Alderson, one daughter Dorothy Jane Alderson, his mother Mrs. William Alderson, eight brothers, James W., Thomas P., Harry, Raymond, William, Albert, Edward and Walter, and five sisters, Miss Edith at home, Mrs. Alvah Sharlow, Mrs. Robert Irvin, Mrs. Carl Long and Mrs. George Clatty.
Funeral services, largely attended, were held at the home of his mother Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the Mount Lebanon cemetery.
