ARLINGTON - Lewis E. Clemens, a printing company owner, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 74.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth is in charge of arrangments.

Mr. Clemens was born in Longview, where he graduated from high school.

He had attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

He moved to Fort Worth in 1972 from Odessa, where he worked in the oil industry and as an insurance agent for a short time.

Mr. Clemens was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, 1840 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth 76103.

Survivors: Wife, Charlene Clemens of Arlington; daughter, Claire Harrington of Albuquerque, N.M.; three stepsons, Scott Dally and Barton Dally, both of Fort Worth, and Paul Dally of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Lyn Dally and Cris Dally, both of Fort Worth; three brothers, J.M. "Pete" Clemens of Longview, Kenneth Clemens of Kilgore and John Clemens of Austin; two sisters, Mary Bell Rogers and Ruth Johnson, both of Gilmer; and six grandchildren.
