Billy C. Broyles of Greeneville died Sunday morning at his home.

Mr. Broyles was a local businessman, farmer, builder, and co-owner of Alpine Apartments.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Broyles was a Shriner and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Mary Ann Broyles; son and daughter-in-law: B.J. and Nancy Broyles of the Middle Creek community; daughter and son-in-law: Patty and Gene Lawrence of Middle Creek; five grandchildren: Michelle "Diane" and Jamie Mosley, Klint and Tammy Albright, Joel and Stephanie Lawrence, Andy and Lynn Broyles, and Becky and Robert McNeese; 16 great-grandchildren: Luke Mosley, Megan Mosley, Mason Mosley, Mackenzie Mosley, Lauren Albright, Will Albright, Jacob Lawrence, Ethan Lawrence, Jake Broyles, Lana Broyles, Ella Broyles, Cole Broyles, Sam McNeese, Ben McNeese, Sophie McNeese, and Molly McNeese; and special friends: Gary and Debbie White, Mary White, and Joe Shelton.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Swannie Broyles; daughter: Connie Albright; and grandson: Raymond Daniel Albright.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity UM Church with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. at the church. The Rev. David Brannock will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, to go in procession to Oak Grove Cemetery for an 11 a.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Robert McNeese, Steve King, Joe Lawrence, Joe Shelton, Klint Albright, Andy Broyles, Tim Harrison, and Jacob Lawrence.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Burkey, David Burkey, and members of the walking group at Trinity UM Church.
