Acclaimed Swedish Poet and Lyricist. One of Sweden´s most popular and beloved poets. He was born in Karlstad in the provice of Värmland, but the family moved to Filipstad, where he´s honoured with a statue. Besides his poetry, he also wrote many lyrics for popular songs, and many composers have set music to his works. Several of his collections of poems have been milestones in Swedish poetry, for instance his debut ”En döddansares visor” (1930), ”Barfotabarn” (1933) and "Goggles" (1938). (bio by: Peter Robsahm)
