W. Stoltenberg, Former Oilwell Employe, Dies
William Frederick Stoltenberg, 75, of 1043 Grandview Road, former Oil Will Supply employe, died this morning in the Veterans' Hospital at Butler. He was born Sept. 15, 1890, in Oil City, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Lena Stoltenberg and had been a resident of this city all his life.
Mr. Stoltenberg was married to the former Mary Confer who preceded him in death in 1958. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Stoltenberg enlisted on Aug. 9, 1918, in Oil City and was discharged on June 24, 1919 at Camp Dix, N. J. He served with Co. G, 56th Pioneer Infantry, and saw duty in France from September 1918 until June 1919.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Stoltenberg of Oil City; two brothers, Richard Stoltenberg of Franklin and George Stoltenberg of Clearwater, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hutchinson and Morton Funeral Home today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Guy E. Gray Jr. of the Hasson Heights United Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Park.

Funeral services for William Frederick Stoltenberg of 1043 Grandview Road, who died Wednesday in the Veterans Hospital in Butler, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hutchinson and Morton Funeral Home with Rev. Guy E. Gray Jr., pastor of the Hasson Heights United Presbyterian Church officiating. burial was in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbears were Frank Fassler, William Stine, Glenn Stoltenburg, Karl Stoltenburg, Fred Fox and Donald Irwin.
