Frank C. Taylor, Sr., 85, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Saturday March 20, 2004 in St. Marys Medical Center. Frank was born May 25, 1918 in Lawrence County, Ohio, son of the late Aner and Lovina Pine Taylor.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Frank was a minister of the Church of Christ in Chesapeake, WWII Army veteran, life member of DAV, and member of the Huntington VFW # 1064.
Frank is survived by
his wife, Mary Taylor of 64 years;
two sons, Frank Taylor Jr. of Chesapeake and Robert W. Taylor of Prince George, VA;
three grandchildren, Wanda L. Thacker of Chesapeake, Mary Ann Taylor of Prince George, VA, and Frank C. Taylor III of California, KY;
one sister, Emma L. Cobb of Huntington;
three great grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was conducted in Centenary Cemetery by Minister Jeff Ross.
