Mrs. Julius (Anna) DeCoux, 89, a longtime resident of Faribault, passed away Wednesday morning, April 18, at the Rice County District One Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Due to Holy Week observances, Mass of the Resurrection will not be said until a later time. Friends and relatives may call at the Kohl Funeral Home from Thursday afternoon until the hour of services Friday morning. The parish vigil prayers will be recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Kohl Funeral Home. Members of the Sacred heart Church Altar and Rosary are requested to meet at the church Friday at 9:45 a.m. for recitation of the rosary prior to services. Anna DeCoux was born on July 26, 1883, in Chicago, Ill., to Frank and Theresa Chatt Schema. She was united in marriage to Julius DeCoux, July 30, 1907, in Faribault. Mr. and Mrs. DeCoux had farmed in Walcott Township, until 1946 when they moved into Faribault. Mrs. DeCoux is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Agnes) Bisping of Faribault; four sons, Frank, Albert, George, and Joseph DeCoux, all of Faribault; twenty-four grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and Frank Schema, both of Faribault, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius; and one son, John, 1972.
