Mary Patty Edwards was the daughter of James Patty and Margaret Mote and the wife of David Edwards. Her husband died 1821 in Darke Co, OH. Mary appears in the 1850 and 1860 Census living with her son, Daniel, in St. Joseph County, IN. Daniel is also buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
In the 2008 Cemetery transcription for Pleasant Valley Daniel's grave was found two graves over, same row, 19, as his mother's (Mary Patty Edward's) grave was. Between them was Robert Edwards, 1822-1862, who was probably a son of Daniel's who died in the Civil War
A 1956 transcription of the cemetery by LDS incorrectly gives Mary's age at death as age 20 (rather than 90, her correct age).
