Major League Baseball Player. Born in Ontario, Canada, he made his debut as a right handed pitcher with the Philadelphia Athletics on April 19, 1950. For six seasons, he played with the Philadelphia Athletics (1950-52) Cleveland Indians (1953-54) and Cincinnati Reds in 1955. He ended his career with a record of 40 wins, 41 loss, 16 complete games, 25 saves, 196 strikeouts and a 4.80 earned run average. I. Retirement, he became a physical education teacher at New Brunswick High School in New Jersey, retiring in 1979. He passed away from a heart attack at age 57 in New Brunswick in March of 1980.
