Stella went to join her husband Otha O. Ray Sr. on December 30, 2010. Stella was born September 9, 1932 to William and Nora Newman in Leonard, Oklahoma. at age three the family moved to Bixby, Oklahoma. She married her beloved husband of 56 years when she was 16 years old. Together they raised five children. Otha O. Ray Jr, Deborah Epperley both of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Linda Fulmer of Anderson, William Ray of Oregon and Paula Blagg of Anderson. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren David and
Gary Ray of Oklahoma, Shawna Basquez and Jammie Cargola also of Oklahoma. James Sehrt III, of Redding, Malissa Ashley, Debarh O'Reilly and Cally Fulmer of Anderson. She was referred to as the greatest grandma by her eight great grand children. Stella's greatest joy in life was her family. She was surrounded by her children while she lived out her last days. Although we knew she was ready to join Dad it meant a great deal for her to see this last Christmas with her five children. One of the things that so many will miss is her ice tea that she was so well known for by friends and family. She has touched so many both young and old that she will be greatly miss but never forgotten by all that had the honor of knowing her. Services will be held at Allen & Dahl in Anderson Wednesday January 5, 2011 at 1 p.m.
