Deceased Name: Thelma M. Cornman, 95, of Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle and formerly of 28 Bellaire Ave., Carlisle, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, in the center.
Born May 26, 1908, in Bloserville, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Bertha (Finkenbinder) Dunkle.
She was a retired employee of the Carlisle Shoe Corp., where she had worked for over 20 years.
Ms. Cornman is survived by a niece, Geraldine Lockridge of Carlisle; a nephew, Amos Dewalt of Bloserville; five great-nieces, Bonnie Wiser and Barbara Lightner, both of Carlisle, and Betsy Kurtz, Kay Failor and Beverly Stetz, all of Bloserville; two great-nephews, Tracy Lockridge of Colonial Heights, Va., and Michael Dewalt of Bloserville; and two great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clark, Charles and Clyde Dunkle, and three sisters, Erma Dewalt, Katherine Ketner and Martha Failor.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle, with the Rev. John L. Shellenberger Jr. officiating.
