Mr. Beveridge was the son of Charles M. and Mary Ann (Savage) Beveridge. In June 1917, he registered for the WWI draft, stating that he was single, living in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, working for Westinghouse Electric, with a dependent (unnamed) niece. He married Beatrice R. Williams about 1917, and they lived in Cresap Park and Midland. At times he worked as a coal miner, and in his WWII draft registration, he reported that he was working for Celanese Corp. in Amcelle. Charles and Beatrice had two sons who both served in WWII (and survived) in the Army Air Corps.
