Mr. Dzedzie died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at his Harbor Springs home.
He was born April 29, 1917 in Cross Village and attended area schools.
Mr. Dzedzie was a veteran of World War II and had been employed at McLaughlin Company in Petoskey, retiring five years ago after working there for 16 years.
He married the former Estelle Eliza 17 years ago.
Mr Dzedzie was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Roessler of Hinsdale, Ill.; four grandchildren; two brothers, John of Levering and Joseph of Pellston; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Marie) Dulen of Boca Raton, Fla., Mrs. Frances Haverfield of Gassville, Ark., Mrs. Casper (Stella) Merris of Pellston and Mrs. Ann Huck of Boca Raton, Fla.
The body is at the Gillian-Erwin Funeral Chapel where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and where there will be a Rosary recited at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
