Ettie Amelia was the daughter of Arthur and ? Butts of Rosherville, Northfleet. She was born in 1891 and baptised on June 28th 1891 at St Botolph's church, Northfleet.
At the time of the 1901 census she lived with her grandparents at Rosherville, Northfleet.
She married Thomas George Handley at St Marks' Church, Rosherville, on 25th February 1912 and had four children, Alice, Thomas, Kath and Jesse, 1916.
She died in May 1966 and was buriedin Bridgend Cemetery, grave M 204. At the time of her death she was living at 41 Pendre, Bridgend.
