of Robert O. Landers of Maple
Springs, N. Y., and a former Derrick
City resident, died at her home
at 8:30 a.m. yesterday.
Born Dec. 8, 1889, at Summit,
Mrs. Landers was the daughter of
Milton Mortland and Norah Burns
Mortland.
She went to Maple Springs from
Derrick City four years ago. She
was a member of the Derrick City
Methodist Church, the Women's
Society for Christian Service, Order
of Eastern Star at Duke Center,
Maccabees of Bradford and the
White Shrine of Bradford.
Besides her husband, she is survived
by one daughter, Virginia
Landers: three sons, David E. and
Robert B. all at home and Richard
O. of Sydney, Neb. her mother,
Mrs. Nora Mortland of Bradford;
one brother, Joseph Mortland of
Bradford: four sisters, Mrs. Besse
Wright, Miss Esther Mortland, Mrs.
Grace Knapp, all of Bradford, and
Mrs. Cora Foster of Little Genesee,
N. Y.
The body is at a Bemus Point
funeral home and will be taken to
the Derrick City Methodist Church
at noon tomorrow for services at
2 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill
cemetery here.
