Terrence Hazel celebrating the Mass for David P. Campolito, 74, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 30, with his loving family by his side.

David was born July 7, 1937, in Youngstown, the loving son of Peter and Bambina "Babe" (DeVincent) Campolito.

He was a 1955 graduate of South High School and attended the Salem Trade School. David was employed with the Danieli-Wean Engineering Department for 36 years, where he retired in 2000.

He and Nana would not miss any of their sporting events or activities. He shared a special bond with his grandson, David, who has autism. David loved restoring cars, drag racing and attending car shows, where he proudly displayed his 1956 "lil" black vette which he had owned and cherished for 46 years.

David was a member of St. Michael Church and its Men's Club. He was a member of the Mahoning Valley Corvette Club.

David will always be remembered by the love of his life, the former Charlotte Teno, whom he married May 3, 1958 and shared 53 beautiful years of marriage always at each other's side; his four children, David (Debbie) Campolito of Salem, Debbie (Donald) Allison of Canfield, Dino Campolito of Canfield and Jana (Mark) Joseph also of Canfield; 10 grandchildren, Eric and Cade Campolito, Donnie, David and Dino Allison, Dina, Laura and Danny Campolito, and Marco and Maria Joseph; two sisters, Jenny Angeloff of Boardman and Lee McHugh of Canfield; godchildren, Patty Tomich-Daley, Mark McHugh and Michael Burich; and many loving nieces and nephews.
