Gregory Dean Garrison, 44 of Pittsburg died Thursday November 24, 2011 at the Via Christi Hospital Emergency Room in Pittsburg from natural causes.

He was born April 18, 1967 in Pittsburg, KS the son of Gail and Elizabeth (Heckert) Garrison.

Greg attended Pittsburg schools and was a graduate of Pittsburg High School. He was a graduate of Fort Scott Community College of
Cosmetology and PSU School of Technology.

He was a veteran of Desert Storm serving his country in the United States Army. He was the recipient of several awards and citations.

Survivors include a son Zach Garrison of Pittsburg, his father and stepmother Gail and Doris Garrison of Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

According to Greg's wishes he has been taken for cremation.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Fort Scott National Cemetery.
