Lawrence F. Beeman, 64, Oakland, died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at the Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland.
Born May 20, 1936, in Vindex, he was a son of the late William T. and Margaret E. Beeman. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Virts.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah D. (Fike) Beeman; one daughter, Debra A. Abernathy, Oakland; three sons, Richard C. Beeman, Leonard L. Beeman, and Timothy W. Beeman, all of Oakland; one sister, Shirley Virts, Kitzmiller; three brothers, Rocky Beeman and Thomas Beeman, both of Vindex, and Carl Burton, Oakland; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, where a service was conducted Wednesday, April 18, with the Rev. Gail Hixon officiating. Interment was in Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
