Marshall Teel, 74, of Jay, Oklahoma departed this life on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at his home after months of declining health.
Marshall entered this life on September 28, 1937 in Dodge, Oklahoma born to the union of the late Claiborne and Hazel (Saffell) Teel. He was raised in the community of White Water in rural Delaware County Oklahoma. Marshall has resided on the family farmstead nearly his entire life. He was a self-employed cabinet builder and cattleman. Marshall was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Southwest City, Missouri.
His parents, two sons, two sisters and three brothers, preceded him in death.
Marshall is survived by his wife, Vickie Teel of the home; two daughters, Missie Braun and husband, Bill, of Joplin, Missouri and Shellie Walker of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Marshall Lynn Teel and wife, Kim, of Willard, Missouri and Clayton Jackson Teel of Jay, Oklahoma; four grandsons; two granddaughters; two great granddaughters; two sisters, Betty Giles and husband, Ed, of Pryor, Oklahoma and Twila Roberts and husband, Dick, of Lexington, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
