RIRIE - Samantha Jerry Smith, infant daughter of Tony Albert Smith and Karma Ann Burgess, died March 18, 2000, at the Primary Children' s Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, of complications from heart surgery. She was born Feb. 23, 2000, in Idaho Falls. Survivors include her father, Tony Albert smith of Ririe; mother, Karma Ann Burgess of Ririe; one sister, Karlee Ann Burgess of Archer, Idaho; one brother, Austin Seldon Blakely of Ririe; grandparents, Lynn and Kathy Blakely of Ririe, and David C. Smith of Idaho Falls; and great-grandparents, Don S. and LaNon Blakely of Ririe, and Jerry Bolinder of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Treena Smith. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery with Bishop Robert G. Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
