Max, 74, of Rigby, Idaho, died Dec. 8, 2002, at EIRMC in Idaho Falls.
He was born August 15, 1928, in Poplar, Idaho, to Earl Henry Killian and Sarah Jane Coles Killian. He attended school in Poplar, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School.
Feb. 206, 1953, he married June Elizabeth Rochefort in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. During the Korean conflict, he served in the US Navy. He worked at the INEEL as a boiler operator for 27 years. He also farmed in the Milo area for many years and worked at the Lincoln sugar factory.
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he served four missions for the church. He has served as the Sunday School President and counselor in the High Priest Group and in the young men's organization. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and family reunions.
Survivors include his wife, June Killian of Rigby, four daughters, Kathy (Matthew) Brandley of Rigby, Linda (Kevin)Carlson of Milo, Idaho, Deanne (Paul) Dial fo Garfield, and Julene (John) Jones of Labelle; a son, Earl Max (Lisa) Killian of Milo; a sister, Darline Newman of Idaho Falls; a brother, Elmo (Rowena) Killian of Lewisville; 23 grand children; and 6 great grand children. He was proceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
