Dies Suddenly
Death came suddenly to Mrs. Margaret Wheeler about seven o'clock this morning, due it is thought to heart trouble, Mrs. Wheeler had been in poor health for several weeks, the result of a severe cold, and had been suffering attacks from her heart. This morning when the family of her son, William, with whom she resided, was arising she called to them and seeing her condition was serious, they telephoned Dr. D.S. Ray and the neighbors, but the final summons came before the doctor arrived.
Margaret Harris was born in Bernadotte township March 11, 1843, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Harris. One sister, Mrs. Mary Deford, and several half brothers and half sisters remain of the family.
She was united with John Wheeler over 50 years ago. Mr. Wheeler died in May 1912. Of the ten children born to them two are deceased. They were Amanda Braden, Lewistown, and Emma who died in infancy. The living are William, southeast of Cuba, with whom she resided; Mrs. Carrie France of Ipava, Joe of Wyoming, Ill,; Charles of Morning Sun, Ia.; Mrs. Ada Wilson, Plymouth, Mrs. Effie Buffum, southeast of Cuba, Mrs. Lizzie Payne, Hayworth, Mrs. Rhoda Payne, Chenoa.
No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.
