| Birth: | May 29, 1892 | | Death: | Apr. 4, 1959 |  World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in command of the 11th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters. During an attack at Asiago, Italy, on June 15, 1918, suddenly the enemy penetrated the front line headquarters. Lieutenant Colonel Hudson collected various headquarter personal such as orderlies, servants and runners to deal with the situation. He rushed a position with only two men and was severely wounded by a bomb. Although in great pain he led a counter-attack which was successful in the capture of about 100 prisoners and six machine-guns being taken. For courage in the face of the enemy, he was awarded Victoria Cross Medal and later achieved the rank of Major General. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
