Mary Griego Lucero, age 87, passed away on July 30, 1998. Mary was born in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, she also lived in Espanola, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Isidro Lucero and her mother, Emma Griego. Mary is survived by her son, John (Johnny) and his wife, Conchita (Connie), her two grandchildren, Lynne Lucero-Arendall and Dean Lucero. Also surviving are her sisters, Irene Valdez, Genevieve Watling and Lillian Maestas, all of the Espanola area. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, August 7, 1998 at 11:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE (corner of Paseo del Norte and Wyoming) with Father Paul Baca, Celebrant. Ennichement will follow in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Charity of the Homeless and Elderly, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
