Mrs. Rose Cook Adams, 91, of 1006 E. High street, died Tuesday at a Jefferson City hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday. A native of Miller County, Mrs. Adams was born south of Eldon June 13, 1884, the daughter of George and Annis Adcock Cooke.
Mrs. Adams had resided in this community for 63 years, coming to Jefferson City from Eldon. On May 18, 1910, at Eldon, she was married to Logue Asher Adams, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Ruth Circle of that church.
Survivors include four sons, Harold G. Adams, Jefferson City, Richard L. Adams, Monterrey, Calif., Robert C. Adams, Eldon, and Russell A. Adams, Fort Wayne, Ind.
One daughter, Miss Pauline Adams, Jefferson City, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Houser Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harry Spear officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund have been suggested.
