She was the 2nd wife of Rev. Dr. Daniel Parish Kidder. They were married April 16, 1842. She was a teacher and principal at Worthington Female Seminary in Ohio. She raised 5 children - 3 of her own and two of Cynthias (his 1st wife). He was a minister in the Genesee Conference, New Jersey Conference, Newark Conference and Rock River Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
