Clara A. Kilpatrick, 101, of Ava, passed away Saturday, June 13, 1998 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ava and was a homemaker.
She was born September 25, 1896 in Sato to Henry and Julia Germann Ditzler.
She is survived by two sons, Bobbie Kilpatrick and Carol Kilpatrick of Ava; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Gene and Shirley, two daughters, Colleen and Phyllis, nine brothers and two sisters.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 15, 1998 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. William H. Pfau offi-ciating. Burial was in Ava Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund in Ava.
