Mrs. W. Clarence Yost

Mrs. Fara Ellen Yost of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, August 12, 1979 in the Valley View Nursing Home, near Berkeley Springs.

She was born in Morgan County on September 18, 1891, a daughter of the late Tice and Nancy Fouch Ambrose.
Mrs. Yost was preceded in death by her husband, W. Clarence Yost in July of 1963.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Louise Morgret, Mrs. Frances Wachter, Mrs. Janet Avey and Mrs. Margaret (Peg) Allemong, all of Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Pauline Rinehart, Harwood, Md.; Mrs. Mildred Gutridge, Mt. Ranier, Md.; two sons, Robert (Buck) Yost, St. George, Va.; W. Clarence Yost, Jr., of Sarasota, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Cecil (Mae) Yost, Winchester, Va.; one brother, Thomas D. Ambrose, Akron, Ohio; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Helsley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Dyar to officiate. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Helsley Funeral Home.
