Frank & Angela farmed the Mescher homestead NW of New Vienna and are now living near the mill in New Vienna. Children: Francis H. of Bancroft, Andrew, Agatha (Mrs. Clement Diers), John ,Henry, Mary (Mrs. Frank Willenborg), Anthony 'Toney', Anna Mescher, Ida (Mrs. Ben Summers). The political views of Mr. Mescher are in accordance with the platform of the Democratic party but he is not partisan in his preferences giving his influence to all measures having for their object the promotion of the welfare of the people In his religious belief he belongs to the Catholic Church at New Vienna to the support of which he is a regular contributor.
