Patrick McGuire
Birth: 1840
Death: Sep. 8, 1898

Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Private in the Union Army in the Chicago Mercantile Battery, Illinois Light Artillery. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on May 22, 1863 at Vicksburg, Mississippi. His citation reads "Carried with others by hand a cannon up to and fired it through the embrasure of the enemy's works." (bio by: Don Morfe)
