Mrs. Jim Bob Gambill Vaughan, 67, of Paris, died Monday December 20, 2010, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Duane Hamil and Brad Crosswhite officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service time from 1-2:00 p.m.
She was born July 5, 1943 in Paris, a daughter of Lloyd E. Gambill and Jimmie Frances Lassiter Gambill. She married Gene Vaughan on December 24, 1965. She was employed at Westinghouse in earlier years and later worked at several convenience stores in Paris, the last one being the Food Fast on North Main. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in the Bible Camp.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gene, who died in March of 1980.
Survivors include her son, Michael Gene Vaughan; a brother, Glen (Sarah) Gambill; a special friend, Frannie Clinton; aunts Rae Bryant of Mt. Pleasant, Dorothy Tillie of Richardson; a niece, Gail Gambill King; a nephew, Danny Gambill and numerous cousins.
