Broadcaster. He was the longtime announcer for the Chicago Blackhawks. Starting as an analyst on Blackhawks television broadcasts in 1961, he began doing play-by-play annoucing in 1963 and continued through the 1974-75 season. He won an Emmy in 1966 for his coverage of the teams away games during the 1965-66 season. In 1986 he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
