Mrs.Chris Nystrup,71,of Akron,Iowa,formmerly of Bronson and Climbing Hill,died Thursday in Akron Hospital after a long illness.Mrs.Nystrup the former Zelpha Gallen was born Sept.21,1901 in Salix,Ia.She was married to Chris Nystrup June 14,1925,in Sioux City.They farmed in the Bronson and Climbing Hills areas until moving to a farm near Akron.They retired in 1957.Mr.Nystrup died in 1965 at Akron.Survivors include,two sons and their wifes,Tom & Irene of Akron,and Wayne Stekelenburg of Portland,Ore.;for grandchildren;one great-grandchild;a sister,Violent Larson of Sioux City;four brothers,Miles of Salix,Byron,Grant and Harold Gallen all of California.Services will be 2p.m. Saturday at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron with Rev.David J.Roy officiating.Burial in Graceland Park Cemetery.
