Ephraim Hewett/ Huit
Regarded as the oldest gravestone in Connecticut and is one of the oldest readable stones in the US. The gravestone is in remarkable condition.
Ephraim was married to Isabel Overton, daughter of Valentine. She was born in 1608 in Warwickshire, England. She died in 1660 in Windsor, Hartford, CT. They had four daughters: Susanna, Mercy, Lydia and Mary.
