Acclaimed Stage, Screen and Television Spanish Actor. He began his career on stage in the play "Yo, Eva" in 1951. He also appeared in "Tres Sombreros de Copa." In the cinema, he debuted in 1953, with "Maldición Gitana," and become one of the most important comedic actors in Spanish Cinema. Among his films:"Marcelino, Pan y Vino" (1954), "Historias de la Radio" (1954), "El Lazarillo de Tormes" (1959), "La Venganza de Don Mendo" (1961), "Un Millón en la Basura" (1967), "Tristana" (1969), and "Manolo la Nuit" (1973). He also obtained great success in television series such as "Ninette y un Señor de Murcia," "La Mujer de tu Vida," and "Juan Español." (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
