W.A. Alexander, 87, had been ill for seven years. He suffered a broken hip in November.
He moved to Llano County with his parents as a child and to Breckenridge in 1919. He was a retired employee of Gulf Oil Corporation. His wife preceded him in death.
Survived by five sons - H.L. and Hubert of Breckenridge; Angus of Snyder, Riley of Nogales, Arizona; Joe of Idaho; three daughters - Mrs. Walter Burnett, Mrs. J.W. True and Mrs. Ruth Mabe; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother - J.R. Alexander; two sisters - Mrs. Robert Rabford and Mrs. Theodore Sansom.
