Plans were initiated in 1905 to build a new Catholic church in Dickinson, Texas, and in July 1908 Joseph Lobit donated the site of the old Ursuline school to the Diocese of Galveston for the proposed church. . . . The Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery is located behind the Sunday school wing of the church. The plot of ground the church and cemetery sit upon was given by Joseph Lobit to the Diocese of Texas and Bishop Kingsolving in June of 1900.
