In the 1850 U.S. Census, the name of Thomas' wife was Hepsy A. Crown. In the 1850 U.S. Census, Thomas and Hepsy were living in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and he was a "farmer."
In the 1860 U.S. Census, Thomas and his wife, Catharine H. Crown, were living in Washington, DC, and he was an "auction merchant."
Hepsy and Catharine must be the same person as Thomas' son, John (1827-1859), was called the son of Catharine in his obituary.
Obituary for Thomas - "Suddenly on the 12th inst., Thomas Crown, aged 78 years, one of the oldest residents of this city. His friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend his funeral from his late residence, Maryland avenue between 10th and 11th streets Island tomorrow, Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock (Baltimore and Alexandria papers please copy)."
In the 1870 U.S. Census, the widowed Catharine was living in Washington, DC, with the family of her son, Charles R.L. Crown.
Thomas is buried in R63/95 and Catharine is buried in R63/94.

2) Georgia E. (Crown) Diffenderffer (born Jan 1831) was born in Maryland. She married John F. Diffenderffer (born c.1823). He was born in Maryland. In the 1860 U.S. Census, they were living with her parents in Washington, DC, and John was an "auctioneer." In the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Censuses, John and Georgia were living in Baltimore City, Maryland, and he was a "salesman" (1870) and a "traveling salesman" (1880). In the 1900 and 1910 U.S. Censuses, the widowed Georgia was living in Baltimore City, Maryland.
Charles R.L. Crown married Elizabeth A. (Robinson) Crown (July 1833 - 1 July 1917) on 17 Nov 1856 in Arlington, Virginia.
In the 1870, 1880 and 1900 U.S. Censuses, Charles and Elizabeth were living in Washington, DC, and he was a "grocer" (1870), a "general furnishing" (1880) and a "landlord."
In the 1910 U.S. Census, Charles and Elizabeth were living in Baltimore City, Maryland, with their daughter, May.
"Departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 1916, at 4 o'clock a.m., at his daughter's residence in Baltimore, Charles R.L. Crown, beloved husband of Elizabeth Crown. Funeral services in chapel at Congressional cemetery at 2 o'clock, Friday, June 2. Relatives and friends invited."
