LANDISBURG - George M. Kerstetter, 70, of Landisburg RD 2, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Saturday in Fort Meade, Fla.

He was a veteran of World War II; a retired employee of the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill; was a member of Young's United Methodist Church; and was active with the New Cumberland Teeners Baseball Association and the Keystone Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah A. Kerstetter; four sons, Wayne A. of Lancaster, Kenneth E. and William E., both of New Cumberland, and Gerald E. of Lemoyne; a daughter, Janet Loerop of Royal, Ark.; five brothers, Alvin of Harrisburg, Herman of Selinsgrove, James of Millersburg, Robert of Hebron, Ohio, and Lee of Dover; three sisters, Thelma Johnson of Ickesburg, Dorothy Leiter of Loganton, and Geraldine Barnes of Blain; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
