Miss America of 1923, she was only 15. She is the only woman to be Miss America twice. She was soon approached with movie and vaudeville offers and even offered a place as one of the famous "Ziegfield Girls," but nothing came to pass as her mother nixed all offers.  (bio by: Laurie)
