Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 15, 1985 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Interment was held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Aage Andersen

Aage William Andersen, the son of Soren and Nikoline Andersen, was born April 16, 1897, at Marquette, Nebraska, and passed away on January 11, 1985, at Aurora, Nebraska, at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 25 days.

His entire lifetime was spent in the Marquette area where he attended country school and farmed. In 1946, he moved into Marquette but continued the farming operation.

On June 22, 1921, he was united in marriage to Agnes Jensen at Kronborg.

Aage was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg, and had served as president and secretary of the church board. He had also served as County Commissioner and was chairman and treasurer of the school board, and had served on the elevator board.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Andrew, Oscar and Albert; 5 sisters, Mathilda Nissen, Anna Nissen, Agnes Nissen, Alma Jacobsen and one infant sister.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his 2 sons, Ivan of Marquette and Rev. Harry Andersen of LacDu Flambeau, Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.
