James O. Eyer

James Oliver Eyer, 63, died Friday night at his home, 222 Western avenue. He was born March 19, 1873, in Wakarusa, Ind., came to Kansas with his parents when he was a small child, and had made his home in Topeka for fifty years. He was an employee of C.K. Roose's store at 131 Kansas avenue several years. He was a member of the First Baptist church and was an active member of the Berean Bible class of the church.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice M. Eyer; a daughter, Mrs. Elma Foster, Glendale, Calif.; a son, George Eyer, Buffalo, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Lilly McCabe, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Angie Misch, Topeka, and Mrs. Maude Reed, Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, A.J. Eyer, Topeka, and S.S. Eyer, Oklahoma City, and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
